Watching Kim Dong-yeon's dramatic election as governor of Gyeonggi Province,
I will write what I feel while watching the dramatic reversal of the Gyeonggi-do governor election. Lawyer Kang Yong-seok, who ran as an independent, won 50,000 votes, and candidate Kim Eun-hye won a considerable number of votes, exceeding the 8,900 difference in votes. Kim Eun-hye and Kang Yong-seok attempted to unify, but failed, and it is possible to calculate that the unification helped Kim Eun-hye lose. In this regard, I would like to point out the political judgment error of CEO Lee Joon-seok. I do not deny that Lee Joon-seok is a very smart and political young man. His brilliant ideas shone through the by-elections and presidential elections just before the presidential election. However, he was full of confidence in every election and was allergic to unification. I know that he criticized Yoon Seok-yeol and Ahn Cheol Soo unification in the last presidential election and treated Ahn Cheol Soo roughly beyond rude.
There may be differences, but it is widely believed that it was unified and won by a narrow margin. I supported Yoon Seok-yeol, but I also joined the Ahn Cheol Soo camp. The reason was only to unify the candidates. He also wrote a series of columns to unify candidates, and in conclusion, unification was achieved. Far from hearing good words from both camps, they were excluded. I still think that it would have been difficult to become President Yoon Seok-yeol if the candidates had not been unified at that time. In the Gyeonggi provincial governor's election, Lee Jun-seok was also absolutely opposed to unification with Kang Yong-seok.
Kim Dong-yeon's election was dramatic, but there were Kang Yong-seok and Lee Joon-seok who contributed to his victory. Candidate Kim Dong-yeon was lucky to become governor of Gyeonggi-do Province, and Governor Kim Dong-yeon could become the center of the opposition camp in the future. However, I hope that he will abandon the strong image of the Democratic Party of Korea and take a middle-of-the-road step as he has lived. Candidate Kim Dong-yeon is a candidate who has no resistance even among conservatives. After playing the role of governor of Gyeonggi-do Province, I expect that the day will come when he will be mentioned as the next president and that he may change to a member, not the current Democratic Party.
There was dramatic momentum in the election of President Yoon Seok-yeol and Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon. If there is anything in common with the administration that governs the state or is responsible for Gyeonggi-do, I think it is most important to avoid splitting the people's sides and see the middle class people like the previous administration. In the future, there will be an era when the center of politics should be centered on the middle, which is not biased toward conservatives or progressives. The power of the people also needs to change what it is. Depending on who changes first, they will receive more support from the public.
Personally, I felt that the voters' choice was right when I saw the mayor-elect in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon. He chose a candidate with political and administrative power. After the next four-year term, it seems certain that the next presidential candidate will expand. I would like to keep an eye on Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon's ability and
